"Special
Delivery" Mitchell B-25 BomberThis B-25 was built in 1944. It was produced in greater numbers than any other American twin-engine combat aircraft. No doubt, part of it's heroic stature derives from its namesake, the outspoken General Billy Mitchell -- who proved once and for all that bombers could destroy targets, and that wars would nevermore be decided only on land or sea. The Mitchell B-25 appearance is sponsored by the Disabled American Veterans. Since its founding more than 80 years ago, the Disabled American Veterans has been dedicated to a single purpose: building better lives for America's disabled veterans and their families. Fidelity to that mission has required DAV to respond creatively and flexibly to changing and sometimes unpredictable problems faced by its constituency. Whether disabled veterans have needed a voice on Capitol Hill, a nationwide service program, a transportation network or unique rehabilitation opportunities, DAV has focused its attention and resources to meet those needs. - B-25 Website |

Ball and his MiG-17FMade famous by the Vietnam War, the MiG-17F was the primary enemy aircraft engaged in the skies over Vietnam by U.S. aircraft. During that war and up until the F-16 entered service, it was the tightest-turning fighter in the world. When production started in the 1950s, its VK-1F engine made it one of the first production jet fighters in the world with an afterburner. Randy Ball's MiG-17F spent almost four years in restoration, and is one of only a handful of vintage jets flying the North American air show circuit. It has an authentic paint job and is the only MiG available for ground display with fully restored guns. Randy's MiG has been seen by millions of air show fans across North America and has been featured in numerous publications, appearing on t-shirts, newspapers, posters, television and movies. - Randy Ball Website |

Carleton and his JET SAILPLANE There's nothing else like it in the world! With its exclusive retractable twin jet engine pylon, the Alisport Silent-J jet sailplane self-launches and performs both a classic sailplane aerial ballet and screamin' low-level jet aerobatics. Powered by twin AMT-USA AT-450 engines, the highly modified Alisport Silent-J is the only sailplane on the airshow circuit capable of performing a low-level, jet-powered airshow performance. Utilizing the exclusive retractable engine pylon, the Silent-J climbs to altitude without a tow plane. The performance begins with a spectacular exhibition of graceful sailplane aerobatics, choreographed to classical music, and featuring the world-famous Silent Wings smoke. When the original altitude is spent, most sailplanes must land. But not this sailplane! By simply adding power from the twin jet pylon, the graceful sailplane is quickly transformed into a true low-level aerobatics machine. Accompanied by an ever-quickening musical score, the Silent-J cavorts at ground level with loops, rolls hammerheads and spins. Beauty has become the Beast! - Bob Carleton Website |

Harris and his SKYBOLTTulsan Randy Harris is fast becoming one of the industry's top air show performers. Noted for his invention of the HammerSlide and GroverOver maneuvers, he has thrilled millions of fans with the Skybolt 300. This former radio announcer, writer and entertainer has a career rooted in aviation. Randy constructed the unique Skybolt 300 himself. With over 800 hours in the Skybolt, he demonstrates the art of precision aerobatics by forcing the big biplane to tumble out of control - knowing precisely when to recover. Maneuvers once thought impossible in a Skybolt are now routine. The air show industry has also recognized Randy's Skybolt as: "Unquestionably the most eye-catching airplane on the show circuit today". Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Randy has an Engineering degree from North Carolina A&T State University.
